Canossian Alumni

President's Message

As Canossian students, we grew up inspired by St Magdalene and her mission reaching out to the poorest of the poor. We find strength in St Bakhita’s resilience and are humbled by her act of forgiveness. We remember words of our school song during our life’s battles and remind ourselves to march ever on in life, courageously with heads held high. Growing up with stories and songs from the onset of one’s education has somewhat instilled a special affinity to our Alma Mater.

I owe much of who I am to the Canossian family and I am deeply honoured to be re-elected as President to serve you for another 2-year term. I am obliged that I return my time and talent to this Association and continue to drive causes that keep our flag flying high.

The Canossian Alumni Association has been blessed abundantly with the support from many. The Sisters who have guided us all these years and the partnership of our Principals who have been in constant dialogue with us and engaging us with collaborations. The dedication of past Executive Committees who have gone before, and those who are with me now, have paved the way for much of our progress in the recent years. Our members, many of whom have been around since our inception and benefitted us through donations and have joined us in our activities – we are grateful to all of you.

We aspire to stay visible and shine the light – showing the world the kind of students that a Canossian school produces – women of compassion, resilience, integrity – empowered and passionate. We want to keep producing generations of Canossians who would speak proudly of their education and return their talents to love and serve, just like our Saints did.
