VITA in Venezia ~ Canossians Connect 2010
In 1808, Magdalene started the Institute for Canossian Daughters of
Charity in the poorest district of Verona. She knew in her heart that the
Will of God is to serve the neediest persons with the heart of Christ.
From Verona, she proceeded to Venice to start the Canossian Institute in 1812. Furthermore, St Bahkita was baptized in Venice in 1890.
Viva Verona CC2009 celebrated 200 years of Canossian history. Life in Venice (“VITA in Venezia” in Italian) is thus the theme for Canossians Connect 2010. This dinner will be dedicated to the fund-raising efforts for PRIME school upgrading for SACPS and SACSS. Note this date in your diary, gather your Canossian schoolmates, teachers and Sisters. Join us in a night of Vita in Venezia!
